How to Attach Your Safelite Light Board

Attaching the Safelite light board is quick and simple

Watch our short installation video to see exactly how easy it is to fit the Safelite panel to your bike rack and connect it to your vehicle's trailer socket.

Quick Start Steps

  1. Remove the Safelite panel from its recyclable cardboard box.
  2. Slot the panel onto the bike rack, ensuring the mounting holes align.
  3. Secure the panel using the supplied locking bungee cords: two for the original Safelite Panel, four for the Safelite Panel V2.
  4. Plug the 7 pin flat trailer plug into your vehicle's trailer socket.
  5. Fit your NZTA supplementary number plate using the pre positioned bolts.
  6. Test all lights and indicators before driving.
