Mounting holes suit inner and outer distances from 31 cm to 52 cm, so the Safelite Panel fits virtually every bike rack sold in New Zealand, whether you run a Thule, Yakima, Prorack or budget tow-ball rack. Two heavy-duty bungee cords with easy-lock toggles secure it in seconds.

If your bikes or rack cover your car's lights or number plate, the law requires you to make them visible. The Safelite Panel is NZTA compliant and comes with pre-drilled holes and bolts ready for your supplementary number plate, keeping you road legal and avoiding fines and demerits.

Laws for carrying bikes

1.4 m of cable with a standard flat 7-pin trailer plug. It plugs straight into any standard NZ towbar socket. No wiring, no adapters, no tools.
