The information we collect from you

The types of information we collect about you, and the way we collect it, depends on the products and services you use and your interactions with us.

Information we collect may include your personal information, such as your name, address, email address and telephone number.

If you use the “full service” and ask us to order your supplementary plate, we are required to collect information on the owner of the vehicle and their licence details. Once these have been validated and processed by the NZTA supplier, and your plate has been dispatched, this information is deleted from our system.

How we use information you give us

We use your information only for the purposes of transacting with Safelite and as a record of your date of purchase for waranty purposes.

If you are representing a club or a school, we may keep emails, and details of the sponsorships or gifts we make to your organisation. We may also list the name of your school or club on our website. With your permission, we are happy to share your Facebook page or posts. No personal email addresses or contact details will be given.

Who we share your information with

We do not share your information with any third party. The information you provide will remain confidential.
